Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VGA Incubator application (the "application"), operated by Veterans Growing America ("VGA"). By creating an account or using the application, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
• You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity under your account.
• You must notify VGA promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the application to:

• Threaten, harass, discriminate against, or harm any other user.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Access records, files, or accounts that you are not authorized to access.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the application.
• Use participant information or documents for personal, competitive, commercial, or unrelated purposes.

Content ownership and license

You retain ownership of the original business plans, ideas, documents, and other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant VGA a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, process, and use it as necessary to operate the program and provide the application to you and other authorized users. Uploading content does not transfer ownership to VGA.

You do not receive ownership rights in another user's content. You may not copy, sell, distribute, or reuse another participant's materials without their written permission.

Program-related disclaimers

Information, feedback, assessments, and templates provided through the application are for educational and program-development purposes. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical, or other licensed professional advice.

Participation in the program does not guarantee revenue, customers, grants, loans, certifications, contracts, investment, funding, graduation, or acceptance into another program. You are responsible for verifying official requirements and consulting qualified professionals when appropriate.

Assessments and progress

Assessments and progress indicators are program-management tools. They do not guarantee business success, graduation, funding, certification, revenue, contracts, grants, or acceptance into another opportunity. Assessments use documented criteria and identify the reviewer and date. If you believe a factual error exists in an assessment or progress record, contact Support so it can be reviewed.

Confidentiality of what you share

Information you submit may be reviewed by authorized Veterans Growing America administrators and instructors for program purposes. Do not upload Social Security numbers, full bank-account numbers, credit-card information, passwords, tax returns, medical records, classified information, trade secrets, or confidential third-party information. Instructors and administrators are expected not to copy, share, misuse, or use participant information for personal or commercial purposes.

Meetings and recordings

For each Zoom session, the application indicates whether it will be recorded. If a session is recorded, joining requires your acknowledgment. Do not record, photograph, transcribe, livestream, or redistribute a session without authorization. VGA will not use recordings, photographs, testimonials, or success stories for marketing without your separate written permission.

Application availability

We work to keep the application available and secure, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully preserved. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Termination

VGA may suspend or terminate access to the application for violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, to protect users or the program, or to comply with legal obligations. You may close your account at any time via Account and Data Deletion.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the application after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
