Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your VGA Incubator account and associated information at any time. Deleting your account will permanently delete or de-identify eligible account information, subject to legitimate program, contractual, financial, security, dispute- resolution, legal, and record-retention requirements. This action may not be reversible.

What deletion affects

• Your profile and business information.
• Messages you sent (message context you appear in may be retained for other participants and for moderation records).
• Assignments, submissions, and uploaded documents you own.
• Attendance, assessments, and progress records associated with your account.

What may be retained

• Aggregated or de-identified program results and reporting.
• Records we are required to keep for legal, financial, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.
• Moderation records related to reports involving your account.

How to request deletion

If you can sign in, use the account settings screen to submit a deletion request. If you cannot access your account, contact us via Contact Support with the email address on your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a deletion request.

Before deletion is finalized, the application will display a confirmation: "Deleting your account will permanently delete or de-identify eligible information, subject to legitimate legal, security, financial, program, and record-retention requirements." Deletion requires identity confirmation and a final confirmation step.

Suspending or deactivating an account is not the same as deletion. If you want your information deleted, request deletion explicitly.
